I like the concept, and the color mixing thing is done very well.
When I click the button to switch modes it also removes focus from the game window, so when I try and move my character it scrolls down the page (On firefox, no idea if this happens on other browsers). Could do something like press space to play, and then if you need to go back have a button to reset the level.
